This DB isn't for you being an awful coach it is for playing a guy that has played 20.5 seasons worth of games as a professional 48 fucking mins a game. YOU single handedly destroyed his career and the franchise. You should be literally hung from the rafters. |

I agree that Cliff Claven is a crap coach, but you know Kobe has been running everything the past couple weeks, and wanted to carry this team on his back to the playoffs. Blaming Dantoni for this is silly. This is all on Kobe in this situation. |

He asked for rest once. D'Antoni already knows that Kobe isn't the type of player to ask out of a game or back down from a challenge. That is why he gets paid the big bucks to make these decisions. He likely killed his career. |

Sure Kobe finally told him to shove his offense up his ass but any coach with a brain would know NOT to play a guy that has played 20.5 season worth of games 48 mins. |

Kobe would have refused to sit. He has records to break. Or was trying to before this. |

He shot per game dropped in February and his assists dramatically increased. He became a different player so the team could win. |

fuck it. kobe talked to Derrick. Derrick said, "why bother?" "You're an 8 seed at best" "why did you risk hurting yourself when you knew you didnt have a chance to win it all?" So Mike D is a douche because his best player wanted to get to the playoffs? He's 35. Not many chances left. Our star figures he'll try when his peeps tell him its time. |
