I was watching Varsity Blues for about the tenth time the other night and I noticed something. Bud Kilmer was this legendary coach, three time Texas Coach of the Year, and yet he had no assistants. If he would have had a couple of coordinators maybe it wouldn't have been so easy for Mox to take over the team. |

I was shocked to see that Buzz Killman is pushing 70. He is one radio guy who hasn't lost his cool after age, wealth and family |

Really? I have never heard a bad thing about Buzz and he seemed absolutely likeable on the air for the past 30 years. What are some stories? |

Is Buzz reunited and feeling so good with Brandmeier yet? His Saturday night shows on 1000 were great absurd radio, like spending a whole segment interviewing the person who did voiceovers for Jewel-Osco commercials. It is because of his show that I developed an early love for the Dead Milkmen. |

He also introduced me to Tony Fitzpatrick in all his glorious weirdness. |

I mean made me aware of his existence. |

Were there more than two assistant coaches on that show "Coach?" I think it was only Dauber and DVD's brother. Plus, his roster should have been massive if he was winning Division 1 national titles. Like a 100 guys in team meetings. |
