older children, I understand the complaint, but my 6, 3 & 2 year olds do not really have the ability to get mom anything real. I just go with them to Bath and Body works and let them each pick something out for her. In reality her real gift is that I'm going to send her to a spa/hotel so that she can sleep as late as she wants and get a pedicure.

I use them a lot. They have quality flowers. The alternative would have been for me to go to my usual place the day before Mother's Day, which would have been terrible, and maybe get whatever is left over. I think I did just fine...

My daughter's mother REALLY screwed me over on a Father's day a couple years back, but I didnt seek retribution. I enjoy being the better person

Luckily my daughter loves making cards for people so it almost doesnt matter.

I will go to the nursery on friday or saturday and personally choose the best flowers because I love the woman who gave birth to my children and allows me to take them on boy scout camping trips near godforsaken rockford the weekend of father's day thus allowing her to not only have mothers day but a free weekend to do anything she wants while I shit in a latrine containing agining feces of "suburban" rockfordites
