How the fuck are you even a major league umpire?

You should get a lifetime and all time DBOTW Award.

You suck. Retire.

And take Cowboy Joe West with you.

I dislike any umpire that tries to make the game about him. It could be barking out "STRIIIIIIIIIKE" with a Frank Drebin like arm motion, or fake screaming with managers. The time has come to take all personality out of umpiring. It's a very difficult job. I'm not suggesting MLB take the human element out of the game. I'm talking about removing these self-important clowns from the game altogether. Angel Hernandez can be first.

He missed an easy call at first in extra innings. It's almost like he's in favor of instant replay in baseball, and he's working hard to get it done.

Sox should have won in the 10th.

Blew the call at first base on Rios that would have won the game an inning earlier.

The HR call was included in my statement, as I assumed that's what RFDC was referencing. However, assuming with RFDC and myself makes multiple asses. What?

I watched the replay. When Robin comes out to argue, Hernandez has a look like he knew he fucked up.

I'm not sure what you're saying. I know the umpires suck and I want more replay (done correctly). Although I am amused business insider cares about blown calls so much.

The mlb link doesn't load for me for some reason. I really want to hear Hawk's reaction when this whole thing went down. Was it as great as I think it was?

Guarantee that Hawk reaction will make its way into several shows next week -- B & B for sure.

It was nothing. It wasn't even in the team photo for best Hawk meltdowns.

Hawk should keep ranting about how bad they are, because that helps a ton!

Unfortunately, the umpires union is a strong one and it has prevented mlb from ridding itself of terrible umpires like Hernandez who have proven time and time again that they are inferior. Too bad they did not recognize his incompetance early on. But for the Sox fans complaining about this latest blown call, it didn't cost them the game, so quit your crying.

Thanks for not understanding the point of umpires missing calls.

Bud needs to have the balls to suspend umpires when they power trip and when they instigate or stoke the fire during an argument. The guy that instigated Harper should have been suspended for a month. The guy that called alomar a burrito in the spitting incident shouldn't have a job and cowboy joe and hernandez should have had their share of time off as well. There is nothing entertaining about old men losing their shit.

He missed a obvious home run by Mauer today, and this time at least the replay got it right.

The rest of my previous post did address those concerns. You just chose to focus on the part that did not. The umpires union is a strong one and unfortunately, if an umpire gets through his probationary time of service, it's tough to get rid of him. It's too bad that lousy employees like you and Angel Hernandez are not identified by their employers as inferior and deserving of termination right away.
