Tired coverage of an even more tired series. Do you really think you are going to spark some controversy by comparing the two "aces" of the Sox and Cubs and letting the beat reporters make a case for each. I would venture to guess that there is not a single MLB exec, scout or clubhouse boy that would have taken Samardija over Sale at any point in their MLB careers. On the other hand, props for page 54. This is the season for championships for the wolfpack! |

Overstating it a bit. Samardzija is a good youngish starter with a history of good health Sale is great, but seems like injuries might be an issue. its not THAT crazy |

dolphin trolls, but Steve is just flat out stupid. That is not the case with gd. Sale being a lefty also gives him an edge over shark. |

My wife to be was forced to walk, carrying her dowry of goat jerkey, blood sausage and the shrunken head of a forefather, as is the custom of that land. |

The guy made 29 starts last year in 192 innings in his first year of starting. He is on pace for 30 and 211 this year even after being bumped for one start against his will. Two years ago he made 58 appearances out of the bullpen. There is nothing fragile about him. Hype has met production. |

You would be calling him fragile. |

The Sun Times beating a dead horse? You don't say.... Lemme open up today's. 95% chance of an article about Uno. Which is the new David Koschman (complete with every day front page HS yearbook photo even though the dick graduated 4 years before). Maybe something about how the evil Ricketts are going to block the rooftops. Surely something about the parking meters.... C'mon now. It's not like you don't know what to expect. |
