This is like a High School show! But Worse

I am sure Chevy is happy to wrote this check!

Pompei- The most overrated football guy in America! I know how long he did for, buy part of it he did a golf gig and because he knows Hampton, hes good? Guy hasnt broke a story in 20 years.

Leary- Cant pronounce Hogue or Buffington! But he sounds good compared to AB! Alex Brown!

AB- Just because you played football doesnt entitle you to a job as a commentator. I hope this is just a tryoput! He makes Leary sound like a pro!

Alex Brown has no business being on the radio. Then again, they could have put Bowen on this show so I'll stop complaining.

Didn't listen to a minute of any of to, so let me whip mine out to moan.

Pompei was a newspaper guy before Mariotti whipped his own out, a fraction of the writing talent and thought being "Chicago" would make a career. He can't break a story (not a reporter) and won't break "unpleasant" with da Bears. Leary, son of English teachers (plural), has voice enunciation, inflection, and overall command of the language to make me think his parents are non-English speaking immigrants. Alex Brown is what he is, except he ain't a Hall of Famer, All-Pro, or went a school that excused using the letter "K" somewhere in the spelling (or accepted pronunciation) of its institution of higher football/learning. Ok, that last one was a shot at R'Kansas but you probably saw what I meant.

I've been drinking better today, bitches. Again. Do yourselves a favor, drink better beer, listen to Doug & OB, and then use your CD/tape/Bluetooth. You'll be better entertained.

I don't know what the circumstances were, but he's over at 720 doing pregame with Kozlowski and...Pete McMurray?

And so ends the Dan Hampton era at WSCR. Let us never forget that Mitch Rosen once thought it was a good idea to have Dan Hampton and Laurence Holmes host a daily show in middays.

Listened to the first hour. I was bored to the point I switched over to give Pappy a listen. I was pleased to hear he still is the same old self-promoting ass on rye. I read that this was supposed to be a Bears pre-game show. It consisted of Chris Zorich crying about his fine for income tax evasion. Then some blogger did some time boring the seven people who were still tuned in. Next up some lawyer, Jeffery Leving or Levin talking about fathers rights to child custody. Then batting clean-up, BeBe steps in to take bows from hubby for getting a billboard erected for the debut of this show. Well, the fact that I had subjected myself to these two shows has me questioning my own mental health. I almost miss Rozner and McDoink.

Hampton was fucking terrible.
Alex Brown needs to get his thoughts together and quit saying "I mean" and "You know."

Hopefully it'll be better with Hub next week.

Should have went with Mike Brown. Heard Laurence's interview with him and thought, "there is the Hampton replacement".

I thought maybe Alex Brown would be OK but it was a rough listen overall. Seems that he might be willing to take shots at guys. I'll give it one more listen and that'll be it.

Leave it to Mitch to hire Alex freaking Brown as the Scores big name Bears analyst. Gosh he is awful. Brown is bad too.
