deep in the opponents territory in the middle of the 4th Quarter is standard operating procedure around the rest of the league. I'm not douchebagging Trestman. I'm douchebagging the media forwarding an incorrect characterization because they were intent on hailing Trestman before the game even started.

Mr. Dolphin, please remember that I haven't seen a fourth down play in nearly a decade which complicated the decision tree immensely.

I agree that it's dumb to praise Trestman for going for it under obvious, must-convert circumstances, but I thought the praise was more directed to the specific play call as opposed to the decision to actually go for it on 4th down.
