There is something wrong there. Not Fox fault. The signal kept dropping yesterday during the Illini game as well.

Brennaman sounded like a damn politician. "No one does it better than the NFL on Fox and we're working round the clock to fix this issue."

Is Billick still on Bernstein & anyone with a pulse?

Bernstein is ripping him on Twitter, and I doubt he'd do that to a guest. Maybe I'm wrong...

Little Thommy has a bad habit about yelling every big play. I like Brian Billick.

I get it to an extent but if that's a picture that's readily available what's the big deal about posting it.

I have no opinion on the picture. Mine was a blanket statement.

It's weird and creepy to post it.

i think the unforgiveable part was that they seemed to cut to halftime early before hte bears got their late FG to close out the first half. i decided to make a beer run and switch to the stream and i'll be damned if out of nowhere it didn't say VISA HALFTIME and they started the highlights early whilst i listened to robbie gould kick 3 very important points.

but yeah.... i've never seen that b4. the superbowl was delayed 33-34 mintues due to a blackout, the opening kickoff was delayed 33-34 mins because of supposed lightning, and i think at least the NO/TB game was delayed today as well.... goofy start to the NFL.

What Dr. Ken said. I'll never understand it. I'd say the same thing if it was Murph's family.

Cutting to halftime was a horrible decision. As long as they had audio, they have to stay with that.

I was DVRing it so I didn't have the luxury of scrambling for the radio feed. Bite me, Fox.

I've never been a guy that blames national announcers for hating Chicago. I think it's silly. But my goodness was Tom with the H annoying today.

Someone has to get an official count on Brennamen apologies.

It had to be high teens at least.

I love how he stayed in play by play mode. "We have had AAAAALLLL kinds of problems with technical issues, we are working TIRELESSLY, and were doing our best!! THAT'S ALL we can do!"

I think there was a point where they even lost the audio. It was right before the early half-time. I was expecting Kurt Manatee to mention something about the technical issues here, but Terry started jabbering incoherently while they showed game highlights.

Sportscaster Brennaman apologizes for apologizing way too many times during Bears game
2013-9-15-Brennamen
on Sep 15, 2013

With the apologizermeter working overtime, FOX Sports broadcaster Thom Brennaman apologized a record 84 times for technical difficulties the network experienced during its telecast of Sunday’s Bears-Vikings game.

“Halfway through the second quarter when Thom reached the 50-apology mark and was approaching the record for most apologies in a single telecast, I thought to myself, ‘Hey, he might have something going here’,” broadcast partner Brian Billick said.

Brennaman apologized for the final time with 2:56 left in the game, breaking the previous record of 83 televised apologies set in 1998 by former President Bill Clinton during the Monica Lewinsky scandal, a mark that was later tied by New York Congressman Anthony Weiner.

“I sincerely apologize for my many apologies, but considering the circumstances; I feel it was necessary to apologize for apologizing,” a sorry Brennaman told the viewing audience after the game ended.
