Learn how to take a joke you egotistical fuckbag.

Kanye West can’t take a joke.
The “Yeezus” rapper launched a Twitter war with Jimmy Kimmel Thursday night, venting over the late-night host poking fun at him for boasting of being the No. 1 rock star on the planet in a BBC interview.
“Jimmy Kimmel is out of line to try and spoof in any way the first piece of honest media in years,” West tweeted in capital letters. “I don’t take it as a joke ... You don’t have scum bags hopping over fences trying to take pictures of your daughter. Jimmy Kimmel, put yourself in my shoes.”

The Twitter explosion came a day after a skit on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” featured two bratty kids reenacting his BBC Radio 1 interview.
In the real interview, West, 36, said rappers are the new rock stars “and I’m the biggest of them all.” He also said he’s gotten to a “point that Michael Jackson did not break.”

Jimmy Kimmel threatened to unfollow Kanye West if he didn't stop his Twitter attacks.

Besides insulting Kimmel’s looks, Kim Kardashian's beau delivered a low blow comparing Kimmel to ex-girlfriend Sarah Silverman.
“SARAH SILVERMAN IS A THOUSAND TIMES FUNNIER THAN YOU AND THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS IT!!!” West tweeted.
Kimmel tweeted back: “one more of these I WILL unfollow you.”
The funnyman addressed the social media attack on his show Thursday night in his opening monologue.

"It’s been a weird -- quick question, did anyone else get a very angry phone call from Kanye West about an hour and a half ago?" Kimmel said.
"Kanye West called me about an hour – hour and a half ago in my office. He is very angry because of a bit we aired this week. He gave an interview to the BBC – and we had a kid actor –take the words and reenact it. "
"He said a lot of things, Kimmel explained to his audience. "He told me I had two choices – #1 Apologize publicly. And that was really the only choice – the other choice he gave was “my life…your life is going to be much better if I apologize”

"And then he started tweeting today. And I don’t even know if I’ve seen some of these because they’re happening as we speak."
Kimmel goes on to read off some of the tweets as he tries to gives a sarcastic quip explaining each one.
"Finally, I’m in a rap feud. I always wanted to be in a rap feud," the comedian joked.
"Right now we’re at DefKanye Five."

Kanye might be the biggest musician/rock star on the planet. He might be an asshole.

Every supposed feud with Jimmy Kimmel ends up being a work.

I imagine this is no different.

He literally promised it's not a bit

It wouldnt be funny to do that and than have it be a skit. That's not getting over. That's lying.

Knowing whatever you know about kanye, does any of this seem far fetched?

I think Kimmell has figured out how to use social media to his benefit.

The skit wasnt even funny. Ill bet it was intended to get a response from Kanye

Smart

Jimmy Fallon (besides Kimmel) loves throwing Twitter in to his talk show. Gotta make sure the kids dig you. He should tell Kanye to go back to munching his rump roast.

Kanye is the equivalent of a home run hitter in the steroid era.

What kind of straight guy would verbalize that kind of praise for a female comedian?

The dig about Kimmel's ex Silverman was a swing and a miss.

Kanye could've gotten to Kimmel by pointing out that Jay Leno, whom Kimmel can't stand, thumps Kimmel in the ratings night after night. Leno has almost 2x's the viewership of Kimmel. Kimmel's move to 11:30 has been a bust so far--Nightline got better ratings in the 11:30 time slot previously. It's likely the affiliates will force ABC to move Nightline back to 11:30 next year. It's costing them too much in ad dollars.

But Kimmel's in no danger of going off the air. I've read that Kimmel's show costs the network more to produce than it makes for the network. It's a placeholder to keep NBC and CBS from owning the late night demo and, originally, to feed off of Nightline's ratings as lead in.

Kimmel's first week at 11:30 is the only time he topped crap-fest Leno. SInce then, reruns of Leno garner more eyeballs than new eps of Kimmel.

Course, who watches network tv? Old people and chicks. Neither of which are in Kimmel's wheelhouse demographics-wise.
