Yes, you can buy tickets for yesterday's no-hitter. 9k tickets are available for $15 a pop so you can say you were there! Selling tickets for a game they already played, how very South Beach.

I didn't even know there was a no hitter yesterday.

The Cubs should do this with 1908 World Series tickets!

Getting a no hitter on the last day of the season in a meaningless game is something I am surprised I have not seen more of. Batters are notorious for all using the same bat and swinging at just about every pitch in order to get the hell out of there in under 2 hours.

I think the Sox may have done it with Buehrle's perfecto. The Cubs should probably do it with Wood's 20K game.

Did it still take you 20 minutes to get past the 100 level gate keepers for that game?

It was a day game during the week. Most likely I was drinking at work.

Actually, I probably had on a coat and tie, but I can't really be sure.

Don't worry. The Cubs probably won the Attendance Championship in 1908 as well.

This is such a tired joke. I dont know if it was ever witty but if so the best before date on that one is long since expired.

That means it goes perfectly with the "No one goes to White Sox games" jokes.

nomination rejected.... that's actually awesome! they've got that otherwise-useless stock of unused tickets just sitting around, so likely a few people would grab some and the rest would just be discarded anyways..... midaswell hock 'em for whatever you can get, especially if people are willing to dole out $20 just so they can "prove" that they were there. if there's gonna be ~50k people who ultimately tell others that they were there that day, shit, if they're dumb enough to spend it methinks there's a ferengi law of acquisition that covers your moral obligation to take the profit here.

So they're not even tickets, they're PDFs. Also they have the wrong date. Nice work.
