I didn't wear a coat today. This type of morning weather really doesn't bother me, and I happen to like a little nip in the morning. Over the past week, I've had two jackasses comment to me at the Metra station about how cold it is outside, and then reference my lack of a coat. People that do this should go die in a fire, maybe it would warm them up a bit. The dumbass today was dressed like he will be climbing The Alps later, on a day when the temp is supposed to get up to 65. |

It has been in the 40s at 4:30 am when I take my dog out. I have yet to put a jacket on and my outfit usually consists of a t-shirt, shorts and shoes. I admit I only walk him about half a block and back and usually only takes 5 minutes but it doesn't phase me in the least. |

The worst part about this story is a grown man telling another grown man that he should be wearing a coat. The fuck is wrong with these dudes? |

I do the same with shorts in cold weather. My assumption has always been people assume I'm doing it for attention, or to prove I'm manly or something... when in reality I just like it. |

Agreed. I'll wear a coat when I feel like it. Worry about your bad breath and loudmouth kid instead. |

This thread made me rewatch the Drunk History about William Henry Harrison, which I still find hilarious: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDukCTcITLY |

Its a weird thing for an adult to say to a stranger Like what are they expecting DB to say? "Holy shit you're right. The temperature hadn't even affected my body until you said it and I realized....You're right! I should have a coat!" |

There is a really good reason you don't need a coat on a 60 degree day. |

I have been bowling in the same Thursday night bowling league for nine years now. Every week, even in the middle of winter, I wear shorts. Without fail, when it gets really cold, the same people ask me if I am cold, over and over again. Unless I have to be outside for a long time, I never wear a coat. I really hate driving while wearing a coat. I find it to be uncomfortable. That and footlong hotdogs. |

I need to resurrect the DB's Who Don't Wear Hats thread. Little did I know it was a factual statement. |
