That's funny. House painters annoy the hell out of me. They just get in the way and get crap everywhere, when I can do just as good a job painting my own space.

If you can do just as good a job (very doubtful) and you have previously hired such poor professionals that they are constantly getting in the way and putting stuff everywhere, you should do the work yourself. Hell, you probably can't afford to have the work done by good professionals anyway.

They have Bathroom attendants all over Wrigleyville after games/Saturday nights. Red Ivy, Casey Morans, Dueces, etc. There is like "A Pimp" for these guys who always parks around Seminary and cornelia and spends the day there. He runs guys in and out, guys take breaks and he sends a sub in and the guy coming out, brings out the cash and the new guy brings in new gum, candy, etc.

Weird, Strange, Odd, yup. all of that.

I am with him on the bathroom attendant thing. I don't want anybody sitting there watching me piss.

That is my usual feeling on the matter until that day when a shot of Fireball leaves me in desperate need of a Rolaids. Then I thank God that man in the short white jacket is there with his sundries. I do not begrudge him the buck he receives for handing me a towel.

Okay....it seems pretty well unanimous that we don't need a bathroom attendant supervising our washroom activities and that this DB nomination is DENIED. But which sjboyd thread is more of an epic fail.....this one? or the Shoutout for Ray Emery, after he allowed 7 goals in a game and then skated from one end of the ice to the other, to instigate a fight with a goalie that had zero interest in fighting?

Bathroom attendants are annoying. They get in the way around the sinks and it's in effect an extra service given to the patrons that they never asked for, nor probably want. They feel obligated to tip the attendant they never wanted service from in the first place. Nomination denied.

Blodget should be perpetually DB'd for his horrible dot com stock recommendations. If you recall, he was caught trashing the companies he recommended in e-mails released by securities regulators. I am with him on the bathroom attendant thing. I don't want anybody sitting there watching me piss.

They have bathroom attendants in the Charlotte airport as well. I appreciate a clean airport restroom as much as the next guy but that's taking it a little bit far IMO.
