Providing equal back page treatment of a guy who hazed and used a racial epithet and a guy who murdered one of his friends and probably a few others. Awesome!

It does sort of resemble the Mayberry Gazette these days. The auto section keeps getting bigger and the rest of the paper keeps getting smaller.

once you pay the big superstars like Mary Mitchell, you're stuck filling the rest of your bench with waiver wire columnists

The Icognito issue is where the NFL draws the LINE!

Because this appeals to everyone who ever ran into a bully in 3rd grade! Now this must be eliminated!

Dont worry about the league with guys who kill people by running them over, shooting them, permanent paralysis, beating women, raping women, drugs, drug dealing, BUT NO MORE BULLYING!!!!!!

LOl you are right. Judging from the news the past couple years and my kids schools you'd think there is no more pressing issue in this country than bullying.

speaking of......watching some NBA games last night I heard an announcer use the term "bully ball", in reference to a player just putting their head down and driving to the rim hard

its probably the 3rd or 4th time i've heard difference announcers use it this year and maybe i'm crazy but i never heard that term before

Some bitch ass snobby girls tried to bully my daughter the first week of Kinnygarden this year at her new school. . . HOWEVER, little did they know she is an avid practitioner of the martial arts.

The biggest girl, who my daughter had said was trying to be catty with her a few days before, came up to my daughter in the bathroom, after my daughter washed her hands, and tried to push her out of the way of the air dryer. . . so, what did my kid do?

She took the arm, of course, just as she was trained to, and then she slammed that punk bitch into the sink using that same arm.

She got in big trouble when the kid told the teacher, but I couldn't have been prouder.

I literally shed a tear of pride.

. . . flash forward: My kid says the other one has been nice to her ever since that day. When I saw her dad a week or so back, he came up to me and said that his kid can't stop talking about my daughter, in a good way - seems as if their little run-in sorted things out.

It doesn't always work out that way. That being said taking an ass whooping while defending yourself is a lot better than getting smacked and pushed around daily while you do nothing.

Bought a Suntimes or read my dads everyday from around march madness 93 to late April 2007. Recently read one laying around at school. I thought it was a shell when I stopped buying it, it has gotten even worse.

It is at the point that anytime a kid makes a comment to another some people consider it bullying.

I do the crossword sometimes at Beggars. I picked it up monday and saw the crossword looked different. Then I realized it was Sunday's paper

The Sunday paper was thin enough to pass for Monday....

I think we talked about this before. I have a similar story. I bought the Sun Times just about every day from Fall 93 up until around 2009. I was teased in school because everywhere I went, I had that paper attached to me. And I hated when chicks would ask me for the "Love Is". Get your own damn paper!

Seth: Hey Jerry don't worry about it, the important thing is that we got to catch up. Mind if I grab the want ads?

Jerry: Actually I haven't read Tank McNamara yet.

I must be missing something. Physically assaulting a classmate shouldn't be applauded. For being catty and bumping? Yikes.

But you've gotta admit, it's a nice little story.

Everything fits, beautiful story arc, happy ending.

You don't say? In that case, I can't wait to have kids and throw them the most bitching party for their 1st felony battery convictions.

Feder has a veritable cornucopia of content detailing the continued erosion of the Sun-Times fortunes.
Interesting profile of the guy who bought the Sun-Times about 2 years ago. Print circulation of the Sun-Times has declined from ~250k daily to ~150k daily, and web-traffic to suntimes.com has dropped by about 40% under "Ferro's Reign":
