I was not going to rant on this until I found out what went on today.

Fucking people stealing from stores while working, walking away from the Kettle stand for Lord knows how long in a day.
Not a fucking hard job to do. 8 hours you get a 10 min break top of each hour plus a 1/2 hour lunch.
We have 30 spots to man. Started the season with around 150 people,so we where working every other day. You expect people to start dropping when weather gets bad but this year there has been so much drama and shit going on. Then people complaining about when they get picked up. They thought they where going to play the LT against his people and drivers. This is a smart guy he is not buying anyone's shit. He told me Sat that he will only prob hire 30% of this years people next year. Then today payday. Army is doing direct deposit and prepaid cards(They issue you a card at start of work and pay goes on payday). Out of 30 spots he only had 12 people to put out. Fucking ungrateful lowlifes. It really irks me that these people are taking advantage of the system and thinking that a couple of hundred dollars is a lot and then quit. I really wish you only got paid after the season was over.

What do you mean when you say they're stealing from the stores?

Shoplifting.
One person was caught taking stuff off a shelf at a Walgreens then going into the bathroom then after they left store staff found wrappers under the garbage liner. Nothing that can be proved. but looks bad.

Another grabbed a receipt from the garbage then next day went into store filled up the cart with the same items and tried to return them for cash

HELEN: Nobody pays for everyting.

JERRY: You're stealing too?!

MORTY: Nothing. Batteries. Well, they wear out so quick.

JERRY: Mom, you too?

HELEN: Sometimes your father forgets, so I have to steal them.
