so whats the big deal? she tried pretty hard to make some edgy tweets in the past and now we're supposed to grab our torches and pitchforks to protest her existence because she retroactively hurt some some feelings via these dredged up tweets? i swear to god the thought police are coming... if they're not already here. |

If Sacco were just a rich asshole spouting off hateful ignorance not as many would care (see: Prince Philip). That she is (or was til last night) the head honcho for Public Relations for Barry Dillar's IAC ( http://iac.com/ ), the parent company of The DailyBeast, Match.com, Vimeo, Tinder, UrbanSpoon, OkCupid (more like OkStupid, amirite, yeesh) fueled the flatulent flames of internet righteous indignation and led IAC to fire her without further ado last night. Guessing that in the post-Mandela memorial glow about SA and apartheid we'll hear more about her father and grandfather's Blood Diamond-ish businesses than her dad would like. |
