50k in cash got stolen from his car. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/02/13/report-ed-reed-has-50000-cash-stolen-from-his-car/ The only reason you need to take out 50k in cash is if you're buying drugs or paying off a gambling debt. Which do you think Reed was doing? |

If being dumb equates to being a douchebag than we should be allowed to nominate board members. Keeping 50k in cash in your car probably isn't smart, but it doesn't make someone a douchebag. |

Beardown, you have never seen most athletes in vegas then. $100 tip is standard. yes, they get $50K on a signature, but they also carry huge sums of cash. Gotta make it rain and hookers dont take credit. They only athlete I ever saw spending minimal money while gambling or spending on anything was Harbaugh. Playing $5 hands of blackjacks after he just signed a $5 mill a year deal with the Bears, so you know some bonus money came with it. $50K is piss money for a 12 year NFL pro bowl vet who was a 1st rounder. This is a guy who got his money from day 1. Guessing $50 Mill over his career. |

His rookie deal was 1.3 |

I dont think he is cheap. He just found a pair he liked, then went and bought like 10 pairs. He just doesnt give a shit about clothes. I can relate. I hate even stopping into mens warehouse and the salespeople love bringing out out more and more for the commission, the they give you a card, like I making an appointment to come in to see my "shirt guy". I know some people do. Some get shirts made, suits made etc. I personally just hate it and could see Harbaugh just wanting to not deal with it. However, I would say he never had $50K cash on him. |

Regardless of what he was doing with it, I think it's just another example of a professional athlete who isn't smart with his money. He will find himself on a sequel to that 30 for 30. |

Fair enough. Guess you're right. The only celeb I've ever seen in Vegas was Pete Rose. But he certainly doesn't have the FUCK YOU money as the guys you are talking about. Rose was at the sports book in the horse racing section sitting by himself. Dressed poorly and seemed to fit in with the rest of the old racing guys sitting there. |

I would pay good money to watch a harness racing handicap show with Terry Boers, Pete Rose and Joe Orr Road Rod. |

Why is he a DB for getting robbed? Why will he go broke because he had $50k in a bag? |
