Aren't you super fast tracked, rear wing on a front drive car and all? From Schaumburg? Isn't watching WCIU something that is beneath you?

Shouldn't you be perusing a life of reckless driving on the expressway and bragging about it on the internet?

The U has given us Seinfeld Reruns, Three Stooges & Svengoolie, so nomination DENIED!

I despise the dog commercials but the one where they say Buster from Summit loves watching Cops Reloaded makes me chuckle thinking about a vengeful dog who loves seeing humans restrained

WCIU will always remind me of SHARK. "That sounds like something that sassy Southern Belle Blanche from "The Golden Girls," seen here locally in syndication on WCIU-TV 26.1,XFINITY (check cable guide for channel position in your area),XFINITY HD 183,RCN 6, RCN HD 606,WOW 6, WOW HD 207,AT&T U-verse 10, AT&T U-verse HD 1010,DIRECTV HD 26, would say."

SHARK posted a Genesis song on FB and started his patented song description with, "Take this at face value..."

Nice. Does he still spin tracks on Twitter? That was kind of a dealbreaker for me.

He's a nice guy, but this perhaps wasn't the ideal medium for him.

Racist nomination.

Quote:
WCIU-TV has always "served the underserved" population of Chicago. Initially that meant airing various ethnic programs in Italian, Polish and other languages. Most significant was WCIU's pioneering efforts in serving the African-American community. "A Black's View of the News" was the first program of its kind in the market. "Red Hot & Blue" was a groundbreaking Friday night music program that brought the sounds of urban Chicago to a wide audience. Everyone is familiar with "Soul Train," but did you know that it began as a daily afternoon program on WCIU-TV when Don Cornelius, a station employee at the time, created the format? It was the first time African American youth had a dance program to call its own.....

....Still, WCIU-TV's mission of "serving the underserved" population continues through its programming that counters what other broadcast stations offer. This includes offering programs in time periods others stations do not feature local programming , scheduling a significant number of popular African American programs and featuring a significant amount of local collegiate and professional sports.

Didn't "the U" used to show Models on Parade? I used to crank it to that show late at night before the advent of internet porn. It was a real life version of casting couch porn.
