Why do willingly choose to piss everyone off?

Need to get somewhere?
Car or walk

Need to exercise?
Stop being lazy and walk or run like the rest of us.

You get in everyone's way. If you have such a desire to zip through in your nut huggers and camelbak please find an empty road near cornfields where there's no one to bother. We're in the midwest so there's plenty.

coming down Racine yesterday, I am at the stop sign. full stop. I start driving and some biker comes down Wrightwood heading west, so I need to stop in the intersection as this guy just rode without stopping and gives me the bird. as if I should stop so he doesnt have to at all. "HEY, IAM BIKING HERE"

I've realized one good thing about bicyclists recently: Women in short skirts riding bikes. You're pretty much getting a free show.

Do you honk? because that is a proven way to pick up a really good looking girl. Especially the delivery guys driving around and seeing a good looking girl, then they honk. I usually then see the really good looking girl run up to the delivery truck.

Yesterday the Lakefront Trail was equivalent to evening rush hour on the Kennedy. I understand it's also a bike path but there were quite a few Lance Armstrong Juniors buzzing and weaving though walkers, runners, and semi-truck Divvy bikes.

And with Divvy putting more of these menaces to society rolling around we get brilliant people cruising down LSD:

I saw a bum dressed in a Hawks jersey/sweater who looked exactly like Mike North at that same location yesterday. He was standing in the planters between the south and north bound lanes.

Criminally asinine. She gets hit (or hits someone) they have to shut down the drive to figure it out.

Moving from the outside towards the middle on the path: people with pets or children, walkers, jogger/runners, then cyclists. And yes, teach your kids the rules of the road. If they can't learn, take them somewhere else to ride (I did).

This is incredibly stupid. Isn't there some sort of bike path right on the lake shore? I wouldn't even feel bad if she got taken out by doing this.

Rolling thread...

Biking on roads where it's clearly disruptive/dangerous can come off as preachy too, as well as arrogant...though those may be related.

I'm in favor of bikes, but I understand that some areas are better suited to to the bike as transit than others. The whole Divvy bike thing seems like a waste to me.

I don't care about them being on the street, but there's nothing worse than the queers who ride downtown on the sidewalk out of fear. It's always dudes with beards. So sad.

Whomever runs against Rahm next year--and it's getting late for Toni Preckwinkle to get into the race--promise to remove all those fucking useless bike lanes on Kinzie and around the loop and return them to traffic lanes and they'll win in a landslide.
