I admit I watch American Idol. I have since its second season. I cant help it. Its my guilty pleasure I guess. BUt I dont understand the appeal with this Nicki Manaj character. Is she suppose to be funny? Is this an act? I dont know her music but based on the first two shows, she's a fucking idiot. She babbles nonsense. She will hurt this show badly.

I agree to a point. Last seasons final three were the best final three they ever had but the wrong person won. But Phil Phillips new song is a big hit and its everywhere. I agree its past its time but it still gets huge ratings which means it makes a shit load of money. Its not going anywhere until commercials arent selling for mega bucks.

I watch Idol with my wife sometimes and I saw a little of her last night, and a little goes a long way. She is annoying as hell. But she should keep it interesting, which I am sure is what they want.

I listened to (part of) some ~30 minute freestyle she did that one of my friends was telling me was so great....like the "non-pop" her

I gave it a shot and got through maybe 5 minutes, some ok lines but really no flow or presence at all....really tough listen
