The bimbette working the bar there last night made me remember why I generally don't patronize that corporate shithole. I stopped in to see if my guy Joe was working. Sadly, he was not.

I ordered an MGD in a bottle. And the stupid broad started talking to me like I was some kind of tourist up from LaSalle-Peru for my one game of the year. "None of the bars around here serve glass after the game." Okay, you mean the thousands of bottles of Miller products I have consumed over the last thirty years in Bridgeport bars are just my imagination? Possibly. But how about the one I had a block away five minutes ago? But I didn't start raking her. After all, she was "just doing her job". But she must have seen me roll my eyes so she upped the ante on the bullshit, slowly explaining to me that serving glass bottles after the game was illegal by local ordinance.

Look, it's your policy to hammer your customers with cans at an inflated price on game day? I got no problem with that. I just won't drink in your bar. But don't make up some happy horseshit. Own your stupid fucking policy.
