Walgreens is kind of a weird one. Some places have the cs training, I find it sort of cult like and odd because it comes off as phony most of the time. Nothing wrong with friendly people though.

Potbelly is spot on--it might be corporate policy to fill time as the sammie goes through the toaster. Even worse, Walgreen's has added the "Be Well" salutation even when you're leaving with a 1.75L jug of Popov vodka and a tube of generic Lamisil. Yuck.
