Congratulations on ruining one of the greatest All Star Game moments in history.

Future Hall of Famer and Glorious New York Yankee Captain Derek Sanderson Jeter should have played the entire game and probably would have been Most Valuable Player in his final All Star Game. Everybody probably agrees that would have been a most excellent moment.

At a minimum, Derek Sanderson Jeter should have played until the middle of the top of the ninth (9th), at which time he could have been removed to the thunderous applause he so richly deserves.

Jeter shouldn't have been there without a ticket. This wasn't an old timers game.

I did not realize that a ticket was required to bat 100%, including a mighty double smashed to right field. And to show tremendous hustle in scoring the pivotal first run of the game. And to lead the American League to victory by his tremendous example, much like he has led the Glorious New York Yankees to five (5) World Championships.

I am sorry that you are out of your medication. Please seek an urgent care facility immediately.

I'm farily confident that, given the option, under no circumstances (short of grievous injury to others) would Jeter have entertained the idea of playing much more than he did. It would not surprise me in the least if in fact he was asked what his feelings were on the matter and helping decide his own playing time to some extent.

Plus he's too decrepit to endure a full nine innings anyway.

I never thought about it that way.

I will admit that maybe it was a knee jerk reaction to immediately blame the current Red Sox manager for my frustration in Derek Sanderson Jeter being robbed of the Most Valuable Player trophy.

I am thinking SR86 is going to need a Nas trolling ticket.

Ha ha ha! Your posts on the merits of Marxism make more sense than this. He is so decrepit that he smashed a double and hustled around the base paths like an African gazelle.

CBS News apparently thought Derek Jeter looked so bad that it confused him with the deceased actor Michael Jeter.

It's likely that this mistake will become a pattern among many news agencies as the season progresses.

I have to admit that Chus' computer magic has made my day. I am laughing so hard, I am nearly having a heart attack. A good heart attack, however - not like when A.J. Burnett would attempt to pitch.

Boy, did I ever hate that rube.

I can't take credit for that. I saw it on twitter.

My favorite play was when he was just slow enough, and had just a weak enough arm to not throw McCutcheon out in the 1st inning.

Forgive me if I don't give two shits that this jamoke is hanging it up. He's Aaron Miles without the pinstripes.

I did really enjoy the commercial he was in where he literally does nothing but walk up to the plate and then stand there. His acting skills are amazing.

The next time I see the video of LT ending Theisman's career, I may now smile a bit more.
