I fucking hate these assholes. Been fucking up our shipping department and generally causing headaches all summer. One asshole in particular has been shipping out a wrong part, an expensive one, consistently for the past 4 weeks and has cost us quite a bit, and I get lectured when I tell them to fire him. Fuck these guys.

so many people are content to blame the lowest level of employment. they can't get a job as a temp without first being hired by someone who thinks they're capable. i dealt with the worst temps on the planet at amazon.com, and i wondered what moron was hiring them. not blaming them for being what they are...which is low level help.

Don't blame the temps. Companies don't have any loyalty to employees and temps are the final straw as far as I'm concerned. If the companies cared about people, maybe these temps would be real employees, get real training and probably still fuck up their job. Nevermind.

Agreed. Not really gonna DB my company here because I like them a lot but I don't like their policies regarding this. We sort of have to hire temps though because we are 20x busier in spring/summer.

When I was a lot younger I got one of my better jobs after being started out as a temp. Only time I was offered to join the company from out of a temp position.

I later gave up on temp agencies when they thought an appropriate job for a college-degree holder was to drive to Elkhart to work picking up residential trash. After 4 years killing myself mentally, I'll pass.
