$200 to watch it on my laptop, tablet or smartphone?
$239 to watch it on my xbox?
$329 to watch it on all the above devices?

All this for about 10 Bears games that won't be on national television? You deserve every free stream on the internet for pricing this in such a crazy way that no one in their right mind is going to pay for. I want to give you money for your games and you want me to pay $20-$32 per game?

This is about double the price of the mlb.tv package, and with that one you get 10 times as many games.

I understand the NFL can basically do whatever they want, and part of the price is protecting directv and their deal with the NFL, but at least make it somewhat reasonable.

Are you even eligible? DirectTV declared I don't even qualify for the opportunity to pay them $329

There is no reason to pay that. All of the NFL games can be watched on your computer, if you know where to look.

You can demand those prices when you are the World's Most Popular TV Show.

Seconded. I will DB them for everything after limiting it to only DirecTV after so many years.

It can be worth it for the convenience like it was for the mlb.tv package. I did the Madden deal last year which gave me Madden + Sunday Ticket for $100.

I'd rather just watch RedZone rather than this.

The Madden deal was amazing. I really enjoyed Ticket on the tablet/comp/phone as you can set up the tablet and then fire up another game on TV. The Ticket app was very good.

And now they refuse to let me give them $200 bucks

The problem with the MLB package, is that not every game is in HD. I'm not dropping $200+ to watch games in SD.

basically this seems like a tax on people who aren't clever enough to have a laptop with HDMI out, so they use their xbox 360/one. call it an x-box tax if you will. i fall into that category for mlb.tv only because i'm outputting to a TV that doesn't have HDMI, but it seems like they want the numbnuts of the world to pay more if they're actually stupid enough to do it. you can't fault em that cuz you know there's some successful/ish people out there who get all frazzled with these "damn streams" and want it simple so they dont have to hook up anything else and go through that pain in the ass. that's where NFL comes in and says "hey for only 239 you can watch it on your x-box only, and for the low low price of 329 you can have both"

I got the Madden deal too. It was worth it for that. I sold the game the next day.

While normally you have to go to some questionable sites to get things like that, I do recall that during the NHL playoffs the folks over at 'reddit' (not exactly the darkest corner, though none too rarely a dim one) provided fairly straightforward enough info to stream the games in rather high quality thru VLC player (a safe enough program).

Whether the folks at /r/nfl (or any sport subreddit for that matter) will provide similar information I do not happen to know, but it seems something worth looking into once the season rolls around for those that don't feel like wiping their ass with good money.

MLB.tv ran a deal this year where for Father's day you could pick up premium for $50. A bit under 2/3 the season was left to go so you're not getting the value of 162 for $129 but I can better swallow $50.

Is there a phone number to call to try to get the price down? Or because they are not directly attached to directv, you don't have any leverage?
I got the sunday ticket on directv for nothing...again.

Maybe it changed. I stopped buying it three years ago.

yeah, i don't think there are any games in SD anymore
plus now in 95% of cases you get both the home and away broadcasts

well yeah, three years ago that was probably true. I remember being so disappointed in my first year with the NBA package b/c so few were in HD. They all are now, you should check it out. I've been watching my A's and my Astros all year.
