The guy has some balls to come on the radio for a MotorWerks commercial and say if he had "a team as good as this one I'd probably have a few more championships". I'm as big a fan as anybody here of Da Coatch but what a load of crap. I know he didn't write it and probably never even read it before the 38 seconds he blew into the studio to record it. But, he should be smart enough to say "hey gang, let's rewrite that part". But, I know he doesn't give a shit as long as there's a check attached. |

Not only is it WYC material, but I wonder whether he even thought twice about saying it. Heck, maybe he even came up with it. |

I'm both glad and sad that I wasnt really aware of what was happening with those teams. Watching them fail with that much talent would probably have turned me into JimmyPasta. |

This crap is the essence of Ditka for the past 30 years. Talking out of both sides of his mouth whether it be coaching football, talking football, hawking cars, food, booze, dick pills, political candidates, or restaurants. If there's a check and a script that is legible, he'll go for both |

How do you know the folks at Motor Werks aren't better at running a dealership than the '86 Bears were at football? |

That is mainly why I don't hold ditka to deity status some do. If he was that fantastic no chance he doesn't have another ring. Too bad him and Buddy parted ways. |

Not living in the city or suburbs, I don't see or hear as much of Iron Mike as most of you do. But there's something about him I don't like -- hard to put a finger on it. I prefer some of the other former Bears like Buffone. The past Bear great we see all the time over here is Gale Sayers, who promotes his knee replacement team out of Elkhart, IN (where he had his surgery done). |

Gale was wearing a hat with his# on it and a Bears coat...like he was hoping everyone would know who he is. Douche. |

Makes for the free round of golf, drinks in the clubhouse, or as in the last time I saw "Mr. Cub" (many moons ago) a free car wash. |

Mr. Cub was hitting on my fiancee back in the day at the little 9-hole course downtown. I kind of felt honored. |

Norm is a God himself. Saw him finish off a fifth of Jack Daniels before you could finish a round of golf once. |
