For taking Cannon and Kojak off my Sunday afternoon lineup and replacing them with Hawaii Five O and Black Sheep Squadron. They could have replaced Remington Steele with Five O and kept the other two, but no. Is Mitch involved with programming on MeTV?

'Catch me if you can', my ass.

Mr. Reason, "Remington Steele" still airs Sunday at 2P on WWME 23, flagship of the MeTV Network. For the record, when "Remington Steele" initially aired weeknights, the ratings stunk and MeTV removed it from its schedule.

As for "Cannon" & "Kojak" being removed, consider this. MeTV has over 100 classic TV shows in its library now. They would like to air as many different shows as possible and create a rotation of sorts.

For the record, there are different shows coming to MeTV. "Quincy, M.E.", starring the late, great Jack Klugman, "Matlock" with the late, great Andy Griffith and other shows will be debuting on Me in the coming years.

Mr. Reason, if you're smart, you enjoy "Adam 12" & "Dragnet" while they last on MeTV. BOTH shows are joining Cozi TV next year. Cozi used to be known as NBC Nonstop on digital cable.

Scooter, I used to watch "Barney Miller" growing up. It had a long shelf life from 1975-82 on ABC, and rarely shot outside the "Squad Room" inside the 12th Precinct.

It's not available to MeTV and I'll tell you why. There's another classic TV channel called Antenna TV, which WGN's parent company Tribune has more than a casual interest.

Antenna TV has a huge contract with SONY Pictures Television for programming. "Barney Miller" is distributed by SONY/Columbia. MeTV doesn't have a contract with SONY, but has long term deals with 20th Century FOX Television, CBS Studios (Viacom/Paramount TV) & NBC Universal for programming. They've also reached a deal with Warner Bros. on certain shows, which may explain why "Wonder Woman", "Gilligan's Island", "CHiPs" & "The Man From U.N.C.L.E." are now on the schedule.

"CHiPs" & "The Man From U.N.C.L.E." are technically MGM titles, but the famous lion is now part of Warner Bros., which also owns Turner Broadcasting.

I have been DVR'ing "Highway Patrol" with Broderick Crawford on THIS TV ( I think).

Classic cars and 1950's California plus 30 minute crime stories. Series ran from 1955-59.

Watch for the Barbara Eden episode. Schwiiiing!

Too bad though that a lot of the best-looking women are working at the office desks in this series -- we rarely get good looks at them full-figure.

Lots of great Chrysler products on display, and Buicks. Some interesting panel trucks, etc. too.

Secondly, MeTV keeps re-airing the SAME episodes of Columbo! Stop it! Air NEW ONES!

7 PM used to be appointment TV for me. 26.3 Last night I had to watch Sunday Night Football instead.

CTF, I have NO CONTROL over the "Columbo" episodes that MeTV Network airs. Besides, there were some newer episodes of "Columbo" that aired on ABC Family, DIRECTV 311, a while back from the late '80s & early '90s. Unfortunately for MeTV, they don't have contractual obligations to those episodes. :(

Not anytime soon. In due time, the other shows that once made up NBC's "Sunday Mystery Movie" such as "McCloud", "McMillan & Wife" & "Banacek" will eventually join MeTV's lineup. When that'll be...I have no clue.

Guys, "Columbo" aired 24 of their 69 episodes on ABC from 1989-2003. Those episodes aired at last check on ABC Family. MeTV doesn't have access to those eps.

McCloud and McMillan & Wife both have been airing on COZI TV.

Regarding MeTV not showing the full range of Columbo episodes: It's the same thing with some of their other series, like not airing the episodes of The Streets of San Francisco after Michael Douglas left the series.

This is also the case with COZI. Apparently they aren't showing the Farrah era of Charlie's Angels (just Cheryl Ladd on up).

I was fine not thinking about the fact that I couldn't find this show anywhere. Now I know it and I'm pissed.

You owe me an apology!

Not NEW episodes. New episodes they haven't aired yet. They keep repaying the same season over and over. Show something pre 1973 and post 1974.

It's on something called "Retro TV." We have, let's see, Antenna TV, Cozi TV,This TV, Me TV, and Me Too. We even have Bounce TV, which is the rerun channel for The Community. But we don't have Retro TV.
