I've never seen fans that are excited after a defeat and seemingly disappointed after a victory.

I am serious, it is hard to see people I care about so much fighting each other, just a shame.

This was the one game versus the Packers that I actually thought the Bears were going to win. And they reverted back to form. Hard to whitewash the effort today. 1st big division game of the year and they failed to close the deal. Looks like the same old, same old to me.

Nas is approaching Rozner level in terms of pushing the trolling limit.

I'm serious. It's not just here either. When the Bears win all I see is; "Let's see if they can do this against _____ next week, I doubt it." Whenever they lose we see; "I told you! Fire/replace _____! This is the worst team in the NFL! "

Serious question: why did you believe so strongly that the Bears would win? Was it because you thought the Packers were that bad (a reasonable opinion imo) or that the Bears were actually good (fools gold)?

I'll take you at your word, Nas.

But you can't deny...nothing really looks all that different. They put up almost 500 yards of offense and they got their asses kicked. It's like the end of the Lovie era but inverted. All offense and no defense.

I thought this was the one time the Packers actually looked vulnerable defensively. And the Pack were having a hard time putting points up.

Agreed. I hate fake Bears fans. I'm so emotionally invested that I get furious when they suck.

I can't stand the people who care so little about the outcome that they can talk about rainbows and sunshine after a loss to the fuckin Packers.

Sickening...

It's not fools gold. They are flawed defensively but will be in every game provided the defense plays average.

The roster is built to win shootouts but they can't win shootouts. That's a problem.

Nas, does this post make Favrefan a fake Bears fan or an objective football fan? I'm confused.

2-2 after a fairly tough four games. This is pretty much what I what I thought. Good times are ahead in the second half of the season. Chin up buckaroos.

Whatever strides the defense took in NY and SF were completely wiped out yesterday. Like FF said, despite the design of the offense and the ambition of the coach, it appears Cutler cannot win a shootout. Now that doesn't render the Bears impotent, but it does mean you cannot overcome a flirting with last place defense.

Don't project a single game onto a season...and they stopped the run. Stop the run as they have the last three weeks and most QBs will not beat the Bears.

It helps if you face backs like Lacy, who seems to conserve most of his energy for the post game spread instead of the in game running.

Poppycock. The Bears rank 20th in the NFL against the rush and the pass.

They haven't stopped either facet of opposing offenses particularly well.
