Every time I turn to 670, I hear the fucking Michael Jackson/Bartman spot. This is AFTER I skip the 30-second ad. You can't fast forward through Bartman. I've tried listening to 670 three times this morning and refuse to sit through the ad. Why, pray tell, should anyone care that Michael Jackson (no, THE Michael Jackson) wrote "Do the Bartman"? I listened to 20 minutes of Cowherd analyzing Romo wearing his hat forward (he's so professional now!), instead of 670's bullshit. FIX IT

I completely agree. More frustrating is that when I check if its my wi-fi I can stream the other CBS programs.

Does anyone listen to the app from their phone with regularity? It craps out on me pretty often. This morning was one of the worst days in recent memory.

While I was out in Seattle, I listened to it every day for a few hours and it worked fine.

I used to on PocketTunes all the time but the most recent iOS update screwed me because that app isn't supported anymore.

I need to find a new app that allows me to plug in my own web address to stream because that Radio App blows.

I listen from my phone at least 3-4 times a week on the Radio.com app. I'd say it works 80% of the time but
whenever it does start acting up I have lost all patience with it and just go to music. It crapped out on me
today just after 9 and I called it quits. I will try to catch crosstalk and see if Bernsie is going to make me turn
it off or not. For a free app I have been pretty happy with it in general

I use TuneIn and pretty much never have an issue.

Same here. Any problems are solved with a app refresh.

I have used this link in winamp for years. Stream starts instantly -- I cannot recall ever having a problem.

Every day on my phone. Only time I lose tune in is when I'm in a bad reception area.

The radio.com app had been working damn near perfectly for me for several weeks until today. I've been pleased with it lately, except the Bart Man ad.

if you iisten to tunein enough you'll hear geico and home depot ads a-gogo over time. the bartman is just a flagrant everytime streamstarter ad, which hey you guys are right that it's annoying, but when i listen to internet radio via tunein i average less than 2mins of commercials an hour so i really can't bitch about it too much in the big picture. just keep popping around stations and you'll average under 2mins/hr of commercials whereas regular radio is what, 15-20/hr?

Except, all too often, it's commercials on the other stations, too. Not the Game, though. I can usually count on them to have a show and not a MOTHER FUCKING MICHAEL JACKSON ad.

i always find it rather amusing that they wanna hit me with a home depot ad when i start up radio caprice EBM (great industrial station from russia)

you'd figure us degenerate/goth/wannabes aren't the ideal home depot demographic, but hey, everyone's gotta live, you know? THAT'S THE POWER OF THE HOME DEPOT.

I don't listen nearly as much as I used to but when I do I'll just start the show, pause it for 15 minutes, and then skip the first couple commercial breaks/updates.

Using Tune-In, I've turned to 670 three times in the last year. Silence, each and every time. Nice!

Radio.com was working nicely until I got back from lunch. It crapped out around 11:35. Too bad because I
was actually enjoying the show. Right after interview with Greg Olsen the thing stopped working.

you lot must have old versions of the app or something cuz 670 on tunein is flawless for me 99% of the time, granted it's like a minute or two behind the pace of the over-the-air-broadcast.

the first version of the new/current android app was buggy and bloated as crap. the last 2 updates are ones i can actually vouch for as they fixed up all the issues with the first release of the current version. i love the way it'll stream WCPT and the aforementioned radio caprice EBM and stuff it won't do without an external/popup player on the proper webpage.

I never upgraded to the new iOS, due to lack of space on my phone.

well i'm on android, and when it first got to the current major version (6 i wanna say?) it had this annoying thing where there'd be seperate processes for the one playing the actual stream, and then if you didnt go to the top status menu and drag down to get into tunein, clicking on the tunein app logo on your front screen would load up ANOTHER process of tunein entirely separate from the one already playing and that made things goofy.

the web player tries to do that when you load up a station but it doesnt play until you hit play on the page and it's like wtf?!?! but web2.0/modern-computing is generally bloated as shit like that cuz the fact that people en masse aren't out demonstrating against how windows 8 on 2014 hardware runs as shit as windows 98/ME did on 1/10th of the hardware in the late 90s = we have been well-trained/conditioned to accept mediocrity.

I learned that by lowering the bit rate the audio quality would suffer but the connection becomes much more reliable.

Do you need paid version to control bit rate. Why don't we call this baud anymore?

dude i'm pretty sure after 9600 even modems were referred to by bps and not baud. welcome to the full duplex society.
