I guess he got lucky on 25,000 yards by accident....I do not think he is great, but I think you should be able to win with him...and do better than they have done....

he threw 2 picks today....

#1 Was in #15 hands, tipped up and out....caught on a tip play....I don't blame him for that...

#2 was an over throw...and probably a throw he shouldnt be amking as he sees the safety deep....but I agree he should not be forcing a ball deep middle one of his shorter WR's (Holmes) with 6 Minutes left.....An out route to a TE for 8 or 9 should be the call up 3, with 6 mins left....Even if the coaches see the middle of the field open...can they send a bigger player out for that play?????

So while I dont make excuses for Jay....look at the play, look at who was sent where and it wasnt a great call....turning the Ball over was the worst possible play and they went high risk on 2nd and 11....Get 5 or 6....they are playing deep....

Those are Jays mistakes today....if you think thats a terrible QB, you have missed the last 25 years od Bears QB history.

Let me add, I don't think he is near the smart guy everyone says he is. There is always a need for announcers and other media people to make us aware about the athletes like Jay, AJ, Paulie , Demp, etc that have a brain....Pat Mannely for example...I don't think he is stupid, but I am guessing he is a C grade college student...but in the world of pro athletics thats deep thought and a very cerebral guy....

If Jay was smart....he would throw a deep middle pass because he would see the Safety playing CF.....end of story.

The game today is not the example of the reason Cutler will never win. The majority of the rest of his career is.

The pass to Holmes was awful, and the offense is under performing. Cutler does make some pretty horrible decisions, but not all of these interceptions are on him. This season is on the verge of going off the tracks with a road game in Atlanta coming up and road trips to NE and GB in the first 8 games.

This offense should be scoring 30 points a game, but it's not. Defensively, Carolina stopped turning the ball over, and put up 28 points between the last drives of the first half and the 2nd half. The defensive line (Allen and Houston) have been invisible most of this season in their pass rush. That has to change.

Too early to give up on the season, but this has to be a top 5 offense.

True, but it's getting close.

I can agree with this.

Bushrod was sorely missed yesterday. Forte fumble, Marshall and Jeffrey non factors. Lots of blame to go around for yesterday, including Cutler's turnovers.
