On why he selected Phil Emery for the Bears GM in 2012. Ted Phillips said it was the "depth of his plan" that made Emery the clear choice to become the fifth general manager in franchise history, replacing Jerry Angelo, a man Emery once worked under. |

Trestman learned why you fire asst coaches, so the next year, like now, they arent coming for your job, because you chose not to fire a coach! or 2! |

Im on this bandwagon. Listening to Laurence but he doesn't want to hear about Phillips. He says focus on Emery. Except Phillips hired Emery. This team is screwed. |

Ted Phillips is the one I've had in my sights for quite a while. That fucker is the Crane Kenney of the Bears, except the Bears give him ultimate power. |

They better come for his job this year. He was a central part of Phil's plan and is a miserable failure at this point. When Lance decided that his new restaurant was more important then preparing for the Bills, it became obvious to all how little respect he and others had for Trestman. Any new coach next year walks into a very enviable position. The talent is here. The leadership of the talent is not. |
