Post subject:  Who the hell opens a Frozen Yogurt shop in Nov?
New place opened last week on Halsted and 31st.
I mean what the hell,are you just off the boat from Cuba and have no idea what weather gets like around here?
Went by last night and predictably zero traffic going in or out. I hope they can last to the summer.
Also to the hipsters now taking over Bridgepor/Canaryville. Some nice shops are opening but a lot of the older hood stuff is going away. I concur with Biggie about the migration of the Lesbian community. Can't throw a comfortable shoe without hitting one

Still haven't tried it. I'm interested, even if it's 30 degrees out. Hopefully it's cheaper than Scoops.

I'm going to guess they planned on opening months ago, but between problems with permits, construction delays, etc...it took till now to open. What is the name of the place? Is it a Menchies (they have opened several franchises in the Chicago area this year.

two different ones opened downtown a few years ago (Pinkberry and I don't remember the other one). both closed within six months.

Sometimes I like ice cream in winter, but I'll just buy it from the store. I ain't doin' no pay-by-weight frozen yogurt in winter. I can get a gallon of eggnog ice cream for less!
