Not only does he piss in the greatest living Cub's face by refusing to consider him for manager (hiring the Great Dale Sveum and Ricky "Raw Deal" Renteria instead), but he now hires the man who cuckolded the greatest living Cub.

It's a sad day for true Cub fans. I'm sure bigfan and RPB are crying blue tears.

Now we dont know this for a fact....and I do wonder if Theo or Maddon are even aware of the story?

Many say it was Rafi and thats why he was moved.

Either way, asking Maddon would be fun.

I can't believe that Dave Martinez was running around with Ernie Banks' wife.

Man, as an aside I've noticed an explosion of the term cuckold and derivatives (usually *cuck*.*) is exploding all over 4chan. I wonder if board culture found and embraced the term or (most likely) some group of posters decided to force the *cuck*.* meme to see if they could affect change on 4chan...

...and since cuck is so close to saying cock and our hyperdexualized society is so focused on cock (ask travokta about what Hollywood does to a guy) I guess cuck is a way to constantly say COCK whilst punning up a cuckstorm with Rafael Cuckmiero and see its affected me now! I won't be able to get the thought of BBC out of my mind.... That is til I turn off BBCuck Americuck and get the cuck out of dodge and go to bed!

Forgot he was on the White Sox. Man Sox fans that knew that story must have been very excited.

He had a long career of competency. 16 years. Never and all star season but never a real bad one either.

So under Ricketts:

5 losing seasons with currently no end in sight!

Tearing down an American landmark and making it in to Disneyland.

Hiring an egocentric punk who thinks it's ok to throw away almost 500 ML baseball games because that's the way he wants to do it.

Hiring a mercenary manager who took away a man's job.

Hiring a man who notoriously slept with a local sports hero's wife.

What's next, stealing Girl Scout Cookies and kicking a homeless guy?

Okay, jimmy, give me three guesses where it was:

1) Faces
2) Tommy's: A Drinking Establishment
3) The Har-Hig

Three guesses on jimmy's high school:

1) Holy Cross
2) Taft
3) Montefiore

And maybe all three, in that order.

We have a winner! I'm a proud Tiger from EP. Jackie Cerone used to jog by me on my walk to school every morning. "Dose were Da Daze!"

Picked my wife up at "The Snuggery" on Algonquin. One of the best things that ever happened to HER!

I have not been back there in sometime. I was at a wedding recently and the guy next to me said he took his wife to "Jim & Petes" on North Ave. in EP. That place has been around since the early 50's. It used to be in River Forest on North next to the Golden Bear but now located in EP on North. My mom was one of their original waitresses. I'd like to check it out sometime.

Jim & Pete's is pretty good. Wifey doesn't like the decor.

Their pizza is great when it's "on." Unfortunately, it's only "on" like 25% of the time.

I used to like Armand's on Grand but they closed down.

Jim & Pete's is good. I'm also a big fan of Danny's on Division in Melrose Park. The fried lettuce is awesome.

That's a real insider place. Every head in the place turns when you walk in the door. Ever been to that place kitty corner Danny's?

Went to Sabatino's this past weekend. Had a good time. Love that place.

Abruzzo's. It's good. I like Danny's better.

Did you have Angelo or Enzo whip you up something tableside at Sab's?

Getting rid of the ivy. Advanced analytic computer models conclude that effective ball-wall-ball defense is significantly compromised.
