I was at a wedding recently and the guy next to me said he took his wife to "Jim & Petes" on North Ave. in EP. That place has been around since the early 50's. It used to be in River Forest on North next to the Golden Bear but now located in EP on North. My mom was one of their original waitresses. Jim & Pete's is pretty good. Wifey doesn't like the decor. Their pizza is great when it's "on." Unfortunately, it's only "on" like 25% of the time. I used to like Armand's on Grand but they closed down. |
