No, I'm not talking about Evan Dando at a solo show acting like a dickhead after doing too much blow, I'm talking about the people who don't use them properly. It's one thing to approach from the opposite direction as me and enter the doorway after I do, but to enter as if I'm holding the door open and then attempting to make me move over so they can enter at the same time. Same goes for people who just stop and stand there waiting for me to move so they don't have to open a door.

I like to stand right at the door when on the elevator, so it opens and I am right there in the face of that jackass who wants to enter before we leave. They usually are startled by my proximity and step back awkwardly, while I can rush out saying "That's right, OFF then ON". Works great with the added hardhat light on to blind them, and sometimes with hands on the top of the door frame like the disemboweled jail guard hanging from Dr. Lecter's temporary cell by his own intestines...
