I'm certainly in the camp that has nothing nice to say about rum. I drank way too much Captain Morgan's one night when I was 19 or 20. Other than the small amount in a Long Island Iced Tea, I haven't touched rum since. |

I love rum. Rummy rum rum. When I was about 19 or 20, I helped a friend of the family move and as a thank you her parents gave me a bottle of Canadian Club. A couple of weeks later, a buddy at a party and I drank the entire thing with nothing except ice. Haven't touched that crap since. |

I'm an alcoholic and I've never had an issue with rum. I've never had a hangover either. Hennessey made my stomach feel funny (never drank it again) but that's as bad as it's been. |
