Tonight during his 20 minute extravaganza before Sox baseball, Laurence Holmes decided to discuss the US Women's Soccer Team and their World Cup win over Japan. As soon as I heard him bring up the ratings (of course he probably knows nothing about the sport or strategies), I knew hockey was going to get another kick in the nuts. Laurence brought up the fact that the World Cup ratings were 3x higher than game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals. I'm not sure what his point was, but Laurence and Jason never let me down with thier trolling of the sport of hockey. You guys are my D-bags of the week.

Larry was comparing the Soccer ratings to all of the sports (including the NBA Finals and the previous Women's champs in 1999). It wasn't shot at Hockey.
