When DAN BERNSTEIN calls out JERRY REINSDORF for his absolute 35 year MISMANAGEMENT of the White Sox, the Sun will rise in the West.

What is the personal and/or professional relationship Bernstein has with Reinsdorf?

Possibly some connection through the philanthropic world, but equally likely that Dan just has an undying admiration for Jerry Reinsdorf.

I actually heard Rongey the other night. Driving to Michigan after La Oaf hit into the game ending DP.

Naturally he was SCHOOLED by caller Maureen who wondered what in the Hell LaRoche was doing pinch hitting in the 9th with the game on the line.

Rongey gave the COMPANY MAN BULLSHIT on how the Sox are trying to get LaOaf some CONFIDENCE going into next season. BECAUSE HE IS UNDER CONTRACT.

THAT is where Rongey does NOT HAVE THE BALLS to say THAT is THE PROBLEM. The WIN NOW stupidity of White Sox MANAGEMENT in some desperate WIN NOW Philosophy signing washed up Bums like Dunn and LaRoche and not eating the money and RELEASING them.

Maybe Rongey can take Kenny's job in this FUCKED UP ORGANIZATION and act as THE BUFFER between Hahn and CHAIRMAN!!!

Rongey has the media experience CHAIRMAN finds so invaluable!!!

While I actually might agree with him, do you think any other organization president would do that....any other baseball GM going in to the Clubhouse numerous times over the years, throwing tables, turning off radios, bitching out players?

Funny you mention this. I've heard Joe Ostrowski bash Rongey a few times over the last month or so. Joe O is his producer for Sox games. Joe called him a Sox company man. Something that his callers say to him, but means a lot more coming from the producer. Then he bashed Rongey for doing a 2 hour post game show after an Angel game. Joe said "It's 1 o clock in the morning. He was talking to nobody and we were getting no calls. I just wanted to go home!!!!"
