He told NFL rookies to get a "Fall guy" for their crimes. This is an NFL endorsed event where they get vets to teach rookies how to behave. This video was actually up on NFL.com before they realized what this idiot said. Because all you guys aren’t going to do the right stuff. I need to teach to you how to get around all of this stuff too. If you have a crew, one of them fools need to know that they’re going to jail. I know a lot of you aren’t going to drink, i know a lot of you aren’t going to use drugs but still get yourself a fall guy” http://www.si.com/nfl/2015/08/23/cris-carter-nfl-rookies-fall-guy |

Wonder if he loses his job at ESPN for this. Cuz we all know the NFL has influence over all of their TV partners. Chris Carter basically told rookies to commit a crime to cover up their crimes. At an NFL sponsored event to teach rookies to be good. Only the NFL. Only the NFL. Gotta love them. |

Chris Carter was one of the many guys in the "No more" commercials saying that hitting women is wrong. Chris Carter was actually crying in the commercial. Something wrong with that where Carter has to work himself into tears for the shot. Just phony. Like he obviously is. |

He's right. If you have an entourage you should have people willing to do whatever it takes to keep your image clean. |

Good Dolphin is right. The way he was talking to them. With the slang. Showing his street cred to the kids. Trying to impress them. He doesn't talk that way when he's on the set at ESPN. The timing is interesting. I'm guessing this talk happened before the Ray Rice video got out. Cuz before that happened being an NFL "Thug" was cool to Chris Carter. Then months later he's crying in a "don't hit women" commercial. Was he crying because Ray Rice didn't have a "Fall guy"? |

And he's not being real. Because he's commented on this video coming out saying "I can't believe I said that." Instead of saying, "Damn right I said it cuz it be the truth, mothafuckas." |

Instead of saying, "Damn right I said it cuz it be the truth, mothafuckas." are you that dense? he had to apologize to placate the twitter PC police.... so he could either stand by his comments and not have a cushy TV studio job.... or apologize and keep the checks flowing |

Carter wasn't talking in "Theory". He was clearly talking from personal experience. Makes you wonder what his "Fall guy" took for him in his career. I've got odds!!!!! Murder: 20-1 Rape: 15-1 DUI: 1-2 Drugs: 1-3 |

I've always thought he was terrible. I never understood his appeal. as far as contributions to discussions he seems to me like the terry boers of espn nfl analysts. except he's very passionate about not giving you anything new. |

I don't know Chris Carter's contract situation. Maybe they renew these NFL TV guys annually. But he needs to be fired. The NFL needs to make ESPN fire him. If he does have a contract, maybe it will be like Dan Marino. Remember when Marino banged that CBS producer. They didn't fire him right away but a year later his contract expired and they just didn't renew him. But the NFL has taken an image beating over the last year. You can't have Chris Carter be on ESPN Sundays and Mondays when he was teaching rookies how to get away with crimes. It's bad optics. I think the NFL will make ESPN fire him, though. Maybe they're working on a buy out now. |
