this has been going on for years. If you are going to pay these guys to be weekly experts, get them a good phone on which to call. Biggs, Bowen, etc. all sound like they are talking through a pillow. The connection frequently gets lost. The sound levels are so low that you have to adjust your radio when the expert talks and again when the host talks. |

I don't think Biggsie's problem is phone quality. It's more how he sounds out of breath every time he's on the air. But, in his defense, stuffing an egg McMuffin down your piehole while talking Bears isn't easy. |

while on that topic. matt bowen and brad biggs are some of the most boring sports experts on the radio. hey would you like us to take football concepts and make them about as much fun as cancer? well here we go! |

I wonder if they've tried using Skype. Get a good connection and a good microphone and they'll sound almost as good as Terry does. |

it's so weird...they have to jack the volume at the board for the guests, so when the host starts talking again it's super loud in the mix, so they have to turn down the overall mix and then you momentarily miss what the guest is saying, stir, repeat every couple minutes... |
