Against me has an amazing energy to them. Their previous albums are more demonstrative of that. This one though.. I didn't really like it at first and then one day I listened to it in the full length and I got it.

Musically, no. Talent-wise, probably even a no. I just used it as a reference towards energy...I need a little more than energy to say a band is decent. I'd listen to Against Me all day every day as opposed to choosing to listen to Fall Out Boy for even an hour.

i dunno about top 5, but hands down the best album of the year is ceephax acid krew's united acid emirates. i still haven't opened the vinyl so i have that collar-popping-goodness when i play one of the ace songs live.

In my top 5 for sure. Listen to Nah Mean, Patience, and As We Enter for starters. As We Enter first. Not many people gave this album that much of a chance.
