They don't need to do it, but The Rolling Stones are hitting the road yet again, sort of. Coinciding with the legendary band's 50th Anniversary, the Stones announced in a YouTube video posted on their Web site today that they'll return to the road for only 4 concerts. Unfortunately for Stones' fans here in Chicago, they're not quite coming back to town this time around.
The Stones, who have also released a new song called "Doom & Gloom", will be rockin' live for 2 shows at O2 Arena in London November 25th & 29th and 2 more at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ on December 13th & 15th. The final Stones' show in Newark will also be staged in a pay-per-view concert special for Stones' fans all over the place to see.
It'll be the first Stones' concerts since the band played 3 nights at London's O2 Arena in 2007.
