Is that Lars? I'm surprised he could take time off from suing his fans to try on Slash's hat. Fuck him.

I'm pretty sure that picture was taken a long time before he was a douchebag clown suing his fans.

But I get your point.

Speaking of Axl, if you really want to scare children and animals alike, might I suggest this as a Halloween costume?

Worst. 80's. Metal/Rock. Rushmore. Ever.

Probably Axl, DLR, Ozzy, and probably Rob Halford, Joe Elliot, or Tommy Lee

There should be a Mount Rushmore of best looking 80's metal singers,
Udo Dirkschneider, Steve Grimmett, Lemmy, and Jeff Keith.

Google Image is your friend.

No way that the dude from the Scorpions and Kevin DuBrow from Quiet Riot don't make this list.

My Guy!

It truly doesn't get any better than the first 4 albums Maiden did with Bruce Dickenson

(I always feel bad when I see one of these type of covers, because you know the singer or whoever had to talk the one holdout guy into the whole hairspray thing forever. "Come on, Kevin! This is gonna be great for our image!" Now Kevin works at a company that fabricates camshafts in Akron and some wiseass in HR is putting this picture in the companies biannual newsletter. Anybody recognize this prettyboy from the Shipping Department?)

I would have them 2nd to Maiden. Excellent choice!

Maiden would be first. Scorpions had to be up there, but too many freaking ballads. Best stuff may have been in the 70's.

Did enjoy some of this in the later 80's. Then the movement died.

Had that one too.
And this one.

And various smaller posters from Metal Edge, Hit Parader, etc.
My childhood room could've been called the "Yellow and Black Whack Attack".

Similarly, Slayer > Metallica .

Lombardo better than Ulrich? Yes.

Slayer better than Metallica? Toss up. To me they are two different kinds of metal. Slayer is more brutal and blood soaked, it makes me want to kidnap a homeless person and sacrifice them to my God of Death, play in their entrails and then keep their head as a trinket. Mailing their remains home in a shoe box is also on my mind.

Metallica makes me want to drink, bang my head (both ways) and rock out.
