I'll go, but depending on who you ask, Ribfest is either one step above a County Fair or exactly even.

I would say a step above, due to the lack of livestock.

I'd say a step below due to the lack of harness racing.

I saw Nugent there several years ago and he kept slipping "ribs" into all the songs. For example:

"I got me a rock and roll band, it's a free for all... with ribs!"

"I'm gonna get a little talcum, I'm gonna borrow it from Malcolm. Yeah, those ribs look so good baby I'm startin to drool all over myself!"

At least he wasn't preaching his political agenda, although DuPage County would seem to be his target demographic.

Good ole' tough guy Ted Nugent, all American 100%, no question about it.

He was so patriotic that he didn't shower for weeks and then shit himself at the draft depot so he would get a deferral and not have to go to Vietnam.

A real warrior, right there.

Obama actually won DuPage County in 2012.

That's because all of the undocumented Mexicans in West Chicago voted for Obama, three times each. CGS told me so.

The Republicans do very well in local DuPage elections.

King of the Chickenhawks. I guess it's a lot easier to shoot something that isn't shooting back at you.
