I'm not cool enough to go to Brooklyn.

I guess you could hit up the Full Cup in Staten Island.

This is actually a Chicago band that I've seen a couple times. Very fun show.

The smaller the venue the better.

I think a good portion of the people that really enjoy concerts are high on drugs, drunk as hell or fanatics. If you aren't one of those, I could see not enjoying the experience. My problem is usually not with the band but other fans. Usually I'm surrounded by douchebags. Happens at seemingly every show. It has gotten worse as I've gotten older.

You were literally surrounded by Douchebag at a concert a few months ago.

I'm not a huge fan of concerts but Toby Keith is pretty good. You should enjoy that unless you don't know any of his songs.

His song about getting drunk is good too.

My beef with Toby Keith is that the song specifically says "no cover charge", and yet they charge one at I Love This Bar.

Go to FitzGerald's. They do their best to accomodate old guys. I think there's even a dance floor for people with walkers.

I've only been to a few, and even then they probably weren't the best ones to go to, but I've never said how awesome it was. It was fun but lots of things are fun.

1) Overpriced
2) Too loud(earplugs help)
3) Not worth the cost or completely overpriced
4) Lots of standing around and waiting
5) A lot of acts aren't that good live. Others are too high or drunk on stage to be good.

Come to the midwest next summer, and see Phish with me. Your face will be melted.
