What does this guy do the other eleven months out of the year? Is he put in some sort of cryogenic storage and then thawed with the Thanksgiving turkey?

On his way to being the greatest Christmas singer of all time though.

I haven't heard it at all, but I just read a review that pretty much said Seth MacFarlane's Christmas album is the greatest holiday record of all time.

This could be true or a joke and I wouldn't be surprised about either one.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holiday_for_Swing

Holiday for Swing is the second full-length studio album, and first Christmas-themed album from Seth MacFarlane, released on September 30, 2014, through Republic Records. ... The album is a collection of Christmas songs and contains collaborations with artists including Norah Jones and Sara Bareilles. It also features Frank Sinatra's bassist Chuck Berghoffer as well as a 65-piece orchestra.

Stephen Thomas Erlewine of AllMusic rated the album three stars out of five and states: "Apart from the ever so slight notion that he's singing with a wink borrowed from Burl Ives -- a tell that gives away his status as a Gen-Xer weaned on Rankin & Bass holiday productions -- MacFarlane plays it straight, even when he's camping it up with Sara Bareilles on "Baby, It's Cold Outside" (Norah Jones is the other guest, singing on "Little Jack Frost Get Lost"), and this sincerity plays out in his favor."

I'm a Buble fan, but he isnt in the team photo with Mathis, Williams and Sinatra of greatest XMas singers of all time.

I know I will get shit for this, but I can take it.
I saw Buble a couple of years ago at Rosemont - the big venue, not the theater.
He was incredible. Great voice, danced well, did impressions - totally enjoyable performer.
Last song, he closes with Leon Russell's "A Song for You."
Halfway through, he puts the microphone down and finishes the song with no accompaniment and no amplification. This is a 16,000 seat theater, mind you.
It was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen.
Totally worth the price of the tickets. I'd go again.

I saw him in 2007 at the Auditorium Theatre. Not something I would normally attend, but it was an excellent show.

He does quite a few.
He is the Sammy Davis/Bobby Darin of this era.
And, unlike most entertainers of his type, he has his whole orchestra travel with him, which is why they sound so tight.
Most vocalists travel with a couple of players and use union musicians from the towns that they travel to.

If I recall correctly, Elvis, Michael Jackson, J Bieber and J Timberlake.
