Now, I understand these lists are a dime-a-dozen, and are subjective, so gross omissions and overrated bands are bound to be aplenty. But still:

1. Stone Temple fuckin' Pilots are the #13 greatest band of all-time (whereas the Stones are a lowly #20 and David Bowie is #45)?

2. Black Sabbath, a main founder of heavy metal, are the #70 band of all-time, yet many of their inferior '90s imitators rank much higher (Soundgarden at #22, Alice in Chains at #59)?

3. Audioslave, The Carpenters, Kansas and Primus make this list, yet no Cheap Trick, Alice Cooper, Smashing Pumpkins...need I go on?

No you don't. It's a list. Get used to disappointment.

Don't harsh on Primus.
