Didn't know you were such a big Godsmack fan.

I hate Godsmack.

But that album cover is not especially bad.

Godsmack's music is still worse than the album cover, but that's not saying much.

Me too. I kept looking at it thinking there was something in the background that wasn't readily apparent. I don't know what's funny about the Rush or Eric Clapton covers, either. I guess for the purpose of this thread "unintentionally hilarious" means "something I would not have designed myself"?

You guys are missing the point - I'm asking for album covers that the band or artist agreed on, but probably shouldn't have...
These last 2 are intentionally hilarious...

alright...

Godsmack's first album from 1998 was pretty decent. "Go Away" was a damn good rock single.
I played that shit.
Their first cover was pretty sweet too.

(we might even classify her as a Doug Leaguer as long as there is no tramp stamp or other shitty ink)

i was done before the 2nd album came out but, they were pioneers of that nu-metal pop. i.e. pre-Disturbed.
so, at the very least you can blame them.

in 1998 it was a possibility...in 2003 it was not.

Yeah I gave up on them after the first album. Every album after that sounds like one 45 minute song. The first one at least had variety. Bad Religion had a Hetfield vibe to it, and Voodoo was a bad ass song.

This band is bad? You guys just have a different taste. Sully's voice can be a little over the top at times but the songs are good. Not every song is good but every album except the last two have been pretty good. They feature the most visually entertaining drummer since Keith Moon in Shannon Larkin. I ask you check this video of an accoustic "Keep Away". Larkin is amazing.
