I hope it goes as scheduled. :(

Show was good. I thought Popmart was better...his voice is pretty much shot and I didn't like where they played WTSHNN.

The pacing of the show was off, fast followed by slow songs really killed any momentum. They played Your Blue Room and a bit of Stay(Far Away So Close)....but it was too up and down. I was even pretty drunk.

Really? Visually it was the best U2 concert I'd been to. I thought they sounded great that night too. The setlist was the one thing that I did scratch my head on a bit.

I went to 14 consecutive shows in Chicago, so ya know, I got that.

Yea, I think I've gone to 8 consecutive Chi shows. I bow to you good sir.

Looking back, I wish I had the money I spent.

I mean the first couple times it was worth it to go all out. Rock n Roll was the most important thing in life then.

But after the 6th one, it was the pressure of the streak.

I just see em once each time they come now.

My problem now is I always tell myself, "this could be the last time." So I go to every single one because its not like you can go to a U2 concert on a whim.

Well yeah, I can see making one show every time, but the whole going to all 4 shows in Chicago thing is unneccessary IMO

They've been doing back-to-back since. Only one in July here.

Do they mix up thier sets at all when you see them 3, 4 nights in a row? One of the main reason I will continue to see Pearl Jam at both Chicago shows is because they do just that. I think last August they played like 55 songs between the 2 nights, and there were only like 6 or 7 repeats.

The first concert I ever saw was the Popmart tour. I saw the Elevation Tour as well but haven't been back since.

They change it slightly, but not enough to warrant going to all of them.

You might get 5 different songs Frank. I'm just on the kick of its not 1986 and at some point these guys will stop touring, or stop sounding good live, or will stop making my that, imo, is still relevant. I know most boardies don't believe they are relevant anymore. They've almost become like soccer to the states. People show up for the live shows, but its the only country that doesn't send their album straight to #1 anymore. Of course when you are battling with the music geniuses of Ke$ha, Bieber, and Britney Spears it ain't easy!

I bet a lot of people said the same thing about the Rolling Stones in 1979. Mr. Reason said the same thing about Tony Bennet back in the 50s.

But I get your point.
