Soldier Field is a logistical nightmare.

The reason I hate Soldier Field shows.
So how did you do it? Where did you park, and how much did you pay for parking? And then how far did you have to walk?

Sunday Rolling Stones I bought a pass for South Lot, I think it was $53. Easy walk. Traffic getting in to the city from Arlington wasn't great but we planned for it. Getting out was surprisingly easy.

Parking was $60....Millennium park garage...yep, a 1+ mile walk, but it was great weather and great people watching.

First Iron Maiden tour in many years I had to miss. OK, Boyd....how was it? As always the stage looked amazing. I get they were featuring the latest album and Somewhere In Time, but I would done things differently. They're easily my all-time favorite band, but they're always so "predictable."

Stranger in a Strange Land - This song has not aged well, but I guess that had to include given the theme.
The Writing on the Wall
Days of Future Past
The Time Machine
The Prisoner - This has been done to death. Try Children of the Damned or 22 Acacia Avenue
Death of the Celts
Can I Play With Madness - Moonchild, Infinite Dreams, Clairvoyant, or Evil That Men Do would all be upgrades.
Heaven Can Wait
Alexander the Great
Fear of the Dark - This song absolutely sucks. They play it every fucking tour and it's sucked every since released.
Iron Maiden

Encore:
Hell on Earth
The Trooper
Wasted Years

Jackson Browne played at Auditorium Theater last night.

opened up for some black singer or some shit. Seemed like an odd bill. I don't know why he bothered with that. Just play ur own solo headline show. Tons o' people would come out to see that.

Picked up tickets to see Gregory Alan Isakov in March with the Chicago Philharmonic at the Auditorium Theatre. Should be a pretty cool show.

Tindersticks just announced a Chicago show for this April. I was supposed to see them at Thalia in late March 2020. Something happened. I can't wait for this.

This is in two weeks. My fear, though, is that they'll be like the Afghan Whigs and disavow pretty much everything pre-hiatus. Much like the Whigs, the second iteration of the band is very good, but the first iteration is inner-sanctum-near-and-dear to my heart. Hoping for at least one of "City Sickness," "People Keep Comin' Around," and "Can We Start Again?" Not even getting my hopes for "My Sister."

Saw Doobie Brothers and Steve Winwood last year.

Winwood was terrible but Doobies were awesome! Couldnt believe they still had 4 original members and shit. Michael McDonald is a living legend.
