I have no interest in attending this show, but I just saw that tickets are going on sale for The Who on 10/15/15. Why would they even bother putting tickets on sale for a show 1-year in advance? Most of the people buying tickets will probably forget they even bought them.

DB nom for extremely early on-sale dates...

I heard that on the radio yesterday. I guess there is a Rosemont show in May, but still, come the fuck on.

It's also probably a bad idea for a band that has existed for 50+ years to be scheduling shows this far in advance.

Will Daltrey still be breathing, and will Townsend be able to stay away from child pornography for that long?

I saw them do 3 shows in 1989 (I know) on their 25th anniversary tour. Entwistle was still alive and Simon Phillips was on drums. Absolutely no desire to see them since.

Those Baby Boomers love their classic rock.

Don't get me wrong, I love me some of The Who, but Daltrey has been finished for awhile now. I have no desire to see this either.

Running same commercial in Pittsburgh and I had same thought. Why one year in advance? I can only guess that whoever backs this tour wants to know well in advance whether there is profitability or pull the plug before real costs pile up.

Extra really fucking pissed off about missing out on Pearl Jam in Moline after seeing the setlist. I regret going to setlist.fm to see what I missed out on almost as much as I regret not biting the bullet and just forking over the $90 on Stubhub after ticketmaster failed me.

At a glance, honestly, the only thing missing from this set is that John Lennon didn't descend from the skies to make a guest appearance on Imagine.

Serenity now...

In hindsight, No Code was better than I gave it credit for. That said, I would have preferred to hear all of Yield live. Great set list though.

Not to rub it in, but yeah, it was an awesome concert.

Saw the Foo Fighters @ The Cubby Bear on Friday. What an amazing rock show. I can see how some might not like the Foos (not really. If you like rock music, you should like them) because music is so subjective (and some people like to dislike successful/popular bands out of spite) but man, what a show.

My opinion is Dave Grohl is an absolute badass musician, songwriter and performer!!! The band is tight and powerful and manically energetic.

I saw the setlist, and it looked great. Skewed very heavily to their older catalog as well. Some nice covers mixed in as well.

Went to the House that Anthony Mason helped build for the Pearl Jam show. Was in the third stage of Kübler-Ross’ Grief Model after an opening combo consisting of Pendulum/Mind Your Manners/Corduroy/Lightning Bolt, but then Rick Nielsen from Cheap Trick found his way onto the stage and they went ahead with a solid version of Baba O’Riley. I've never gone out of my way to see a Cheap Trick show, yet I've somehow been to 4 or 5 of them by way of them opening for the band I came to see, and now this. Baba O’Riley was the turning point of the show, and they ended up playing Yield cover to cover. The show ended up being 35 songs in just under 3.5 hours.

This is the first time I've seen them play indoors, and while I typically prefer outdoor shows, it felt more energetic than the previous 4 shows I've been to. The Bradley Center wasn't too bad of a venue for an arena show; this was my first time here, but I much prefer it to The United Center and Allstate Arena.

The Moline and Milwaukee shows looked pretty solid. Greg was lucky to see those back to back. Now I
wish I would have sacked up and gone. Oh well.

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: Yes, sir. I should just retire from PJ now. Think I said the same thing after the fan club only show in 2007, too.

Have tickets for a show in Milwaukee tonight but I can't make it. Had something else come up and even
if I did go the opening band doesn't go on until 8pm and I wouldn't make it home until close to midnight
which is a bit too much for a week night when I have to be to work the next day. I should have considered
this when I bought the tickets.

Just kinda following along with the Denver set as the evening progresses, Moline and Milwaukee were definitely the fortuitous recipients of some love.
