He was not on Glee, though I would guess he had a song or two that they covered badly.

He's like the male version of Taylor Swift, and has slept with Taylor Swift(or whatever she does with men).

Well, he's craptacular enough to be on Glee, that's for sure. So now he has something to look forward to.

She put him on like Dre with Snoop and Jay Z with Memphis Bleek

Which way will he go?

I think we know how this one ends. At least one full album from each about it.

thanks but i don't need any education on Oasis , i know precisely where i stand with them

and i've seen them before as well

I saw Oasis in concert a couple weeks BEFORE Bagels--March 5, 1995, at the Abyss in Virginia Beach, VA. The young lady I was dating at the time had a huge crush on one of the Gallaghers.

Ed Sheeran must get laid non-stop. I watched him on Austin City Limits and the audience was easily 80% girls that were hanging on his every word. Talented fucking ginger.

I was thinking about it at lunch, and I'd say the closest band we have right now to The Beatles is One Direction.

Ironically, I'm pretty sure I'm a bigger fan of One Direction than most of the people here who said I was wrong. I doubt One Direction or The Beatles would be playing Coachella!

I'm more than willing to hear an argument on who is closer. I doubt spanky has them on his ipod though!

I feel like I missed some stuff here.

What do you mean? In terms of the popularity?

nobody's close to the Beatles and at no point was anyone ever close to the Beatles. That's why they're the Beatles.

Popularity would certainly be a factor.

In the tiny "Pop/Rock" segment of the universe of human music history, the Beatles were the biggest/best/most influential band. Not to say another bigger better band could come forth but it seems unlikely.

Christianity will go. It will vanish and shrink. I needn't argue about that; I'm right and I'll be proved right. We're more popular than Jesus now; I don't know which will go first—rock 'n' roll or Christianity.

If Revolver was made today, not one person would listen to it.

It's the truth. I don't have any axe to grind. I'm not even a big Beatles fan. I just appreciate what they were.

It's a different discussion all together. I'm just trying to find the band that comes the closest to The Beatles right now.
